2017.05.14『未知の知 UNKNOWN』

未知とはなにか、と言われてもそれは科学や哲学など学問の世界の話であって自分の日常とは乖離した話だと思われるかもしれない 知らないことは少し怖く少し恥ずかしく、避けられるものなら避けてしまいたいと言うのが未知に対する認識かもしれない そんな『未知』を少し考える機会があったのでとりとめもなく綴ろうと思う

How do you define the “UNKNOWN” “UNKNOW? I’ve never thought.. I’ll make fuckin’ scientists keep thinking!!” You maight say like it. UNKNOWN is a little scared and a little feeling ashamed. You think that you wouldn’t like to touch it. But I try to think it..“ Why ? ” “Because I don’t know ”

１，知について About UNKNOWN

『あなたは林檎を知ってますか？』 もしそういった問いを真剣に考えたら100% 『はい』 と答えられる人はほとんどいないと思う

“Do you know APPLE?” I don’t think that there is a person who can answer “YES, I know all things about APPLE”

林檎のすべての品種や歴史、栽培方法など林檎にまつわるエトセトラを余すことなくわかっている人などいるのだろうか

Is there someone who know all kinds of apple, all history of apple, all way to grow up apple..etc.

ほとんどの人はまどろっこしい言い方をすれば 『はい、30%くらいは』 と言ったような表現が的確ではある これは林檎だけでなく我々に観測できる事象のほぼ全てに言えることだろう、例えば自分自身にでさえ つまり『知』とはYES/NOの点で捉えるべきでなく、その深さこそ本質かもしれない

Actually almost people know a little about APPLE, for example 20~30%. It also say to everythings not only what we can grasp, but also to yourself. So, I should think about knowledge as not only “YES/NO” but also “How deep do I understand?”

私の知の及ぶ範囲はおよそそれほど広くはない そういった前提で『未知とはなにか』を考えると 『未知とは日常のほぼすべて』であると私は言える

So, I should define that almost everythigs in my life is UNKNOWN.

２，既知について About KNOWLEDGE

『林檎は小さいか？』 私の答えは『いいえ』だ 確かに林檎はメロンより小さいしメロンは地球に比べたら極めて小さい。そんな地球も太陽と比べたら小さい

“Is APPLE small?” The my anwaer is “NO” Exactly, apple is smaller than melon, and melon is smaller than earth. Everyone know that earth is big, but it is smaller than sun.

でも私の答えは『いいえ』だ 林檎は大きい、だけどメロンは林檎よりさらに大きく、しかも地球や太陽はもっともっと大きいというだけだ

However, the answer is “NO” Because I think that apple is really big, but melon is just bigger than apple. And just say that earth and sun are bigger than apple.

世界は私の認識で如何様にも変わる すでに知っている事象でさえ自分の考え方次第で捉え方は変わる それは常識などの『社会』的な規模であっても

The worls is changed by what I think about it. Even if it is about common sense.

３，未知について About UNKNOWN

私の周りにはほぼ未知しかない 『それなら私はなにも知らないのか？』 答えは『いいえ』だ 私はたくさんのことを知っている、ただよりたくさんのしらないことがあるだけだ。そしてなんとなくしっているだけのものがもっともっとたくさんあるのだ

Actually, almost things is UNKNOWN. So “Do I know only a little things?” The answer is “NO”. I know a lot of things, but there are more things that I don’t know yet. And there are more more things that I know just a little.

今現在たくさんのことを知っている私にとっても この世界の事象はほとんどが未知である しかしそれゆえこれからもっともっとたくさんのことを知っていけるはずだ 好奇心と探究心を失わない限り Almost things is UNKNOWN, so I can know more things from now on. If I don’t take my curiosity and sprit of inquiry away.

それが『未知の知』である 未知という可能性に向き合うことが日常を輝かせる

UNKNOWN is possiblity, and it makes my life blight.

余談

社会は唯一の答えをほしがる 社会はベストを要求する でもそれはあなたの可能性を潰す病原菌の他ならない The society want you to find the only one of answer. The society want you the best eveytime. But it will remove the possibly from you.

私たちは常に選択し続けなければならない でもその選択がどれだけあなたが考え抜いたものであれ、全人類が賛同するものであれ、ただその時ベターに思えたというだけであるということを忘れてはならない すべては未知である 考えることをあきらめるな

I have to choose and decide a lot of things by myself. But if the answer looks the best, I don’t forget that almost things are UNKNOWN. I don’t know that is the best or not but I’ll never give up to find better.
